Bandai announced that Tekken movie: Blood Vengeance will hit theaters in 3D on July 26. The company also announced plans to launch the CG movie based on Tekken for the DVDs soon.
They stop the project Bandai Entertainment, the NCM Fanthon and Nanco Bandai Games America. Bandai and Fathon had worked together in films Sworld of the Stranger and Eureka Seven: GoodNight, Sleep Tight, Young Lovers. But this is the first time unite to create a 3D movie.
The film is being produced by Digital Frontier (Resident Evil:Degeneration, Death Note). In the staff are the writer Dai Sato (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex and Cowboy Bebop) and the Director of Projects Youichi Mouri who was responsible for opening videos of the games Tekken 5 and Tekken 6.
